Hi!

I have just been diagnosed with PCOS I’ve had 1 period this year and have had Cystic acne since primary school! I almost feel upset that PCOS was never checked as I’ve had many symptoms of it for many years. I’m about to start taking a med to induce periods every 3/4 months, wondering if anyone has tried this?

I’m very upset and still in shock about this all and I’m so glad I found a network. I am young only 22 but being a mum is something I’ve always wanted.... any tips and advice is appreciated.

Love to all

You are being proactive and doing all the right things lovely. Be proud of yourself for that.

It is scary when you see posts of how long some people have been TTC but try not to get wrapped up in that. Everyone's story is difference and no path is the same.

Time is on your side, keep your sugar intake as low as you can each day and keep your BMI below 29. Modern medicine is a marvel and there is so much that can be done for women these days.

Just spend time living your best life and being the best version of yourself. If you are fit and healthy that will all help towards you being a mum one day.
