Changes to symptoms

Hello,

I was diagnosed at 16 following scans and lots of blood tests. I’ve had several scans over the years and all have shown follicles in both of my ovaries, the most recent scan being 3 years ago. I’m 29 now and was admitted to hospital this week for an unrelated issue and during a scan and chatting to the radiologist, she mentioned that she could see no follicles and that my ovaries looked healthy.

I’m a bit confused as I had no idea that these can go away. I still have lots of other symptoms- very irregular bleeds, excessive hair and mood swings as well as a real struggle shifting weight.

Has anyone else had experience of follicles going away?

TIA
