Advice Please.

For the past 5 months my periods have become irregular with them occurring less than every 21 days. They are heavy and I am in a lot of pain. I am not on any contraception due to migraines and my hair is becoming thinner than usual. I’m really worried but don’t want to be a burden over nothing.

Definitely speak to your GP. Less than 21 days is also considered irregular by PCOS standards. If you’re bleeding heavily and frequently you may also be becoming anaemic. You may also have something else going on if they are painful and heavy eg fibroids, endometriosis etc so it’s worth getting checked.
