Hey, I’m 21 and was diagnosed a few months ago , although I knew something was up for over 3 years since I had such severe symptoms too. First I started to loose the regularity in my periods, the more time went on the less I got them. Also the worst symptoms which lead me to severe depression was my lack of energy. I was unable to do anything. I would sleep all day and for over 12 hours a day. I felt like I was going crazy. The hair loss has also been one of the worst symptoms. I am now trying minoxidil to treat the hair loss at the back of my head.
My advice would be to keep persistent. Don’t let your doctors just prescribe you medicine and let you go of on your own. Do more research and ask for tests for your hormones and to see a specialist ( gynaecologist or endocrinologist). Don’t just diss your symptoms for a long time like I did. Deal with them so you can feel more yourself and happier!
Try 'theanswertopcos' diet as it is amazing, lots of ladies have said their symptoms have been improved significantly by being on it. I have always been on the combined pill to control the symptoms which works for me.
It is crucial to have 4 periods a year to keep your uterus healthy too so make sure you take the medication to force a bleed.
