Has anyone ever had the ovarian drilling surgery and was it successful for weight loss and other symptoms?

Hey I had ovarian drilling in February and have lost weight. My periods before surgery had to be induced by provera, now they are 28days long and regular! I have ovulated naturally which I didn't even ovulate on clomid before the ovarian drilling! I would definitely recommend it

Thank you for your response. May I ask where you had the procedure done? My daughter has been having a very difficult time losing weight. She is 23 and not presently looking to have children. She just wants help with the symptoms of PCOS. Have any other symptoms gone away or improved?

There is only a 6 month window of pcos symptoms improving, often this is done for fertility reasons as can increase your chances of conceiving. Often cysts can start to return after the 6 month mark and symptoms increase so it is only a temporary solution - it is not very often offered purely to reduce the symptoms as it would need to be re-done
