Hi,

I ve been prescribed marvelon couple of weeks ago but noticed that you can't take it if you are lactose intolerant ....so i went back and the doctor gave me rigevidon. Now since I have read about it online, its pretty clear that it shouldn't be for people with pcos? What do I do?

Thank you

Well I never knew that lol - what about yasmin as an alternative - Ive been on dianette, marvelon and yasmin and they all help reduce the pcos symptoms (still on yasmin).

Have a look at this post, it goes back to our old forum and we had a lady on their who really knew her stuff when it came to the pill and what was good for which symptom etc.

Having researched more and more online it seems to say - The daily amount of lactose (<80 mg) is such that women with intolerance to lactose are highly unlikely to experience a problem

So i may be ok and maybe should try it...as the post you sent suggests marvelon is good so fingers crossed...thank you
