I'm sure many of you know that I am a lover of curry - really
I was at a National Trust property yesterday walking around the grounds with a friend and we stopped for lunch in the café, I had a Leek and Potato soup which was okay but not the best. What was good though is they had 2 recipe cards left (I didn't realise the National Trust published recipe cards, I've seen that they have recipes online) so I picked up both, one for me and one for my friend, they were both the same recipe, see link below:
Well I'm so glad I made this as I did a taste test earlier and it tastes absolutely delicious and I will definitely make it again, I highly recommend the flavours.
I didn't have any Cardamom pods and looked on the internet and they suggested using a mix of Cinnamon and Ginger and it worked a treat.
As bless you, thanks ali, I'll be making it again for sure, that's once I've eaten the 5 portions in the freezer. My freezers, yes I have two😉, are rammed so can't fit anything else in.
Lol. It’s great to have two freezers. I’ve got a fridge freezer and my freezer is rammed with sliced apples haha. People kept giving them to us in the autumn so lots of apple crumble in our house to make space for Christmas!
Oh boy, it certainly is particularly as I'm the only Vegan in the house. Meant to say the cauliflower I used in the curry was the best one I've tasted in a very long time, it was an organic one from Tesco and seemed very fresh.
Now there is nothing wrong with Apple crumble, childhood memories for me.😋
I really do, my mum was an amazing cook and baker.😀
I didn't know that, now you are a mind of very useful information.😁 I did steam it briefly before putting what I didn't use in the freezer, that's how I know it tasted darned good.
Some people get excited about fast food, me, it's cauliflower🤣
