As it’s tomato week here is a lovely recipe for roasted tomatoes.

This is delicious with a barbecue a side dish or just on toast 😋

I half tomatoes and spread some crushed garlic, (you could use garlic salt or granules) black pepper, Italian dried herbs and olive oil on top. Roasted slowly in the oven for about an hour and put a leaf of basil on top of each tomato.

Here is also a similar recipe I found on line.

That sounds great, I will give it a go. Never tried roasting them.

I had some lovely tomatoes with my organic veg box this week, but they were so amazing I ate them all immediately :)

😁haha Good for you Ben and I think you’ll love the roasted tomatoes.

Hi Ali, I love roasted and baked toms so this sounds delicious on toast to me. 😊

I agree but it’s going to be a while before we are going to be having any tomatoes on our plants. Are you growing any in your garden?
