I made a pastry case with brown flour and baked it blind. I filled it will vegetables I had that needed using up which I had previously dry fried in a wok.
The filling was cannellini beans, plant milk and nutrition yeast blended to make a sauce.
I served it with a wild garlic and fennel salad and cous cous with pine nuts and basil.
It was very tasty so thanks Debs ππ

Looks and sounds delicious Ali. How did the filling set as before I was a Vegan I would have used eggs?
Hi, its like a white sauce consistency so you can make it thick or thin. It doesnβt really set as such. The nutritional yeast thickens it and the milk thins it. Then add herbs or whatever to season it. The other thing you could use instead of the beans is gram flour mixed with water. ππ±
