This recipe is doing the rounds on Facebook, its a cream and potato bake basically with artichoke and ham which of course I'll be swapping for mushrooms. I'm just wondering how alpro single does in the oven. I could add nutritional yeast for cheesiness but just not sure how vegan creams do in an oven bake? 🤔

I’m not 100% sure but I think it would be fine. I personally wouldn’t hesitate to put it in oven baked food. You are supposed to be able to use it as a substitute for anything that you would use dairy cream so on that basis I think it would be absolutely fine. Sounds delicious btw 🙂🌱Ali
Thanks Ali
I made it tonight with Oatly cream and nutritional yeast, I also added Cauldron marinated tofu in place of the ham and added Chestnut mushrooms. Topped with a bit of grated cheddar style. It was really rich and indulgent. I served it with more chestnut mushrooms and crispy kale. 👍😁
