Raw Food Diet

Hi everyone, I went to a very interesting event / workshop with lunch ( always a good add on !πŸ˜ƒ) this week at the Energise Academy here in Conwy . The founder, Mark Bryant is in his 30's and is on a journey trying to get back to full health after being diagnosed with leukemia . He thinks a stressful work lifestyle with little regard for a healthy food diet, contributed to his being so ill. As well as taking conventional medicine including chemo which takes it toll on the body, he has now adopted a predominately raw food, lots of sprouting seeds included, and juicing diet and lives a more holistic lifestyle ie with fitness and meditation included . He looks amazing on it and his story is also very interesting and inspiring. I would recommend anyone looking at his website. Whilst I certainly eat raw food I am now going to increase my intake and start juicing again. I'm now looking at juicers, dehydrators and sprouting equipment ... think I need to start saving !

Hi Jens58 - no special equipment needed in my experience see this link

you may add mung sprouts here is a tried out link - start with only 1/2 cup - ininitially i did like she said - the mung turned out for the use of stirfry - 6 days of soaking.

i like the greeness in them so i soaked again the same way for 5 days. and i did put a heavy saucer to make them green and juicy.

tried it out 2 times.
