Cook some polenta in sufficient water with nutritional yeast and a dash of chilli, black pepper and a 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric. Lay out thinly(?) on a good baking tray/silicon sheet and bake. The top side will become golden and crisp. You can skim this off and bake it separately for a few mins while letting the rest of the initial layer get a crisp topping. It all depends on how deep you lay out the initial layer.

Hi Andy, this sounds really interesting to me and I wonder if you could make your polenta mix up and spread it on baking paper then put a filling on it like diced mushrooms and then roll it up and bake it in a roll, like using rice paper.

They sound great savoury biscuits anyway.
