I stayed in a hotel last week where meals were self-service on a buffet bar.

One lady used the serving tools at each section, she used a serving spoon to put some cauliflower on her plate. she dropped some onto the counter. she put down the spoon, scooped the cauliflower up in her hand and tossed it back into the server tray !!!!

It was the thought of the cauliflower Sandra which put you off your stride.

What a peasant. Not very hygenic and obviously not well bred. I just hope that the counter was clean but more than that I hope she had washed her hands after she had been to the loo.

And I thought I was being over cautious! I was first there [7.45 a.m. or breakfast an 4.55 p.m.for tea]

she looked well off but no lady.
