clots of blood

anyone ever had small clots of blood coming from their mouth,dont mean like bleeding gums,but small clots in their saliva

its not coming from my chest,as not coughing,just slightly worried

Do you have a sore throat? I suppose it could be anything. I was told once if blood is bright red coloured it is local, if it is dark to black it is from deeper inside. I have not experienced this but maybe someone else has.I would get it checked out if it was me. Can your ring your specialist nurses?
