Are your medics investigating this? And have they considered Still's Disease? I know of one vasculitis patient who has that, and she runs very high temperatures a lot. Alongside vasculitis. Here is some more info: nras.org.uk/resource/what-i...

I'm waiting for an emergency appointment with my consultant as this round of rituximab hasn't gotten me into remission so fingers crossed won't need to wait to long.

Are you familiar with constitutional symptoms? One of those is recurrent fevers. The others are fatigue, weight loss, dry cough ...

Don't know if you had these previously or not. It's how I originally got diagnosed.

You probably need to let your consultant know possibly a sign of relapse or infection.

I’m sorry to hear you are suffering with your current GPA and current treatments

I’ve only taken Prednisolone for GCA for 18 months and did not take any of the monoclonal antibodies

These symptoms are concerning and I’d advice you speak asap to your Doctor or consultant

Good luck

Regards June

Yes, must rule out infection - a good GP would arrange blood and urine tests (eg. FBC, CRP, LFT, MSU and dip test) before your emergency Rheumatology appointment.

Hi

I was diagnosed with MPA in September and my symptoms included daily temperature peaks and night sweats. Temperature would go up to 39 and come back down after paracetamol only to repeat again the next day. Never felt achy really, just a high temperature and night sweats.
