a bit more concerned now......

Had an appointment at the unit that has looked after me for the last five years.

The biological meds have stopped as they simply didn't make enough of a difference to my eosinophilic asthma.

The concern now is that vasculitis is here. I explained that during the summer my neck got stiff and cracked when turning my head to the right. I put this down to just turning 50.

Since then I have had sores on my feet ( big ones) and smaller ones on my scalp.I have aching bones and joints and painful sinuses and rhinitis. My eyes also feel gritty.

I have had a rash between my legs for the last three years - creams do nothing. course of pred sees it diminish but it comes back.

Weight loss and change in bowel habits saw me have a colonoscopy and CT scan. Colonoscopy was normal - a month later I am still waiting for the scan results.

At the hospital they found traces of blood in my urine. I feel like I am mithering people but I feel absolutely dreadful.

I know something is wrong with me.I would like to know what.

Dear Madbiker1,

Make an appointment, to see your 'own' People, and Tell Them EXACTLY what you have said here. Make sure, that you Stress, JUST HOW WORRIED you really are- and don't Hold Back.

I personally DON'T know, quite what, your 'Symptoms' Mean- That's what we have Doctors/ Consultants for! Can/ Will you let us 'Know' please?

I gave the nurse a full list of symptoms - aching joints, bones, gritty eyes, aching back/ abdomen. I previously had huge sores on my feet and scalp and painful sinuses. I have also lost some weight.

The nurse took bloods and urine. She told me they would have me back in a month. Fair play to them - my appointment for end of November came through the next day.
