Sixth Covid Jab Today

Dear All,

Today I had my Sixth Covid 'jab' which, coupled with the Flu Jab- last week- SHOULD offer me 'Some Protection'! I say 'should' because I'm Very Heavily Immuno-Suppressed, due to both Vasculitis- since 1995- and a Kidney Transplant- in 2013.

I will continue Self Testing, at least. Twice a Week and wear my Mask, when away from Home. I was recently on Holiday (at Re-Vitalise, formally The Winged Fellowship Trust- Holidays For Dis-Abled People And Their Carers.) and they were Very Good Indeed, everyone 'Coming In' was Screened along with All Residents- and Staff- twice a week.

I'm Home again now and here, I live in Supported Living, the Staff also regularly Check themselves- and wear a Mask when visiting our Homes. I only visit Places that, I know, are 'Safe' (as far as I can ascertain) so, my Risk Factor, is a Low as I can (reasonably) Make it (without living In Orbit, or at the Bottom Of The Ocean!).

Good to hear that your jabs are all up to date Andrew, especially as you are heavily immunosuppressed.

I am not so heavily immunosuppressed, but am relieved to say that I had my 6th jab yesterday, so am covered for omicron now. I had to wait until 3 months had passed after my 5th jab.
