Is there a connection between Vasculitis and Cirrhosis?

Hello, I’m new to the Vasculitis forum.

I’m still trying to find out if my liver cirrhosis has been the cause of my Vasculitis.

I’m also having feet problems. Sore. Tingly. Is there anything I can do? I’m forever waiting for appointments to see specialists (neurologist & rheumatologist and gastroenterologist) . My Dermatologist has signed me off. Is there such a thing as a Vasculitis Specialist? Sorry to sound so naive. I’ve got the questions, but no answers are forthcoming.

You can have vasculitis of the liver. Call vasculitis uk to find your closest centre. They tend to be London, Birmingham and Cambridge.

I can’t help on the cirrhosis. Yes there are vasculitis specialists. They tend to be rheumatologists or nephrologists. You may find one at your local hospital but some hospitals have vasculitis centres. As AmyS1 has said the helpline can help with this. Some hospitals will arrange shared care where you go to a local hospital and a specialist centre. Please don’t apologise for asking questions we were all new here once and we’re happy to help if we can. I have sore feet and pins and needles I’m told it’s nerve damage.

Foot issues likely to be peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage). Mine was very bad but improved a lot after treatment. Takes time.

Hello goose flight. What treatment did you have for peripheral neuropathy? This seems to be the cause of my painful feet.
