Susan has been asked to ask in the group if there are any issues anyone is experiencing in relation to their healthcare during this COVID19 pandemic?

Are you experiencing any challenges getting hold of your rheumatologist, or rheumatology specialist nurse? If you leave a message with them, does no one get back to you? Is your rheumatologist cancelling your appointments and not rebooking them? Please can you let me know by EMAIL ONLY... susan@vasculitis.org.uk .... stating what the problems are you are experiencing and which hospital you are seen.

Thank you..... this post is not for slagging off any doctors but to find out if there are genuine problems in certain areas.

Susan needs the emails by tomorrow evening at the latest please.

If you do write an email , just reply done to my post and Susan will look out for your email 😊

Hi John, is this just specifically about rheumatology issues or is Susan also interested other specialist areas eg nephrology? Chris

It is just Rheumatology .... BUT if you are seen at one of the Vasculitis multidisciplinary centres we would certainly be interested in any problems or issues

Yes I cannot see a Rheumatologist at all. I have tried the Royal Free, where I see a Rheumatologist and Neurologist and also Oxford. I have left messages with the help line and no replies.

I don’t know if I am having a flair, but all my bloods have come back abnormal and I am having night sweats and I just cry as I feel so alone.

That is terrible. Can you get your GP to raise the riot act with the consultants? The trouble is that when you feel unwell you need someone to fight on your behalf. Failing that you need a family member to to phone the consultants' secretaries and express concern. You do not sound well and need medical help. I am so sorry you have been made to feel like this.

Done! I have sent an email to Susan yesterday Tuesday 24th. Please note that your post on this didn't show up at all until I did a search for it. I suppose that's how the computer sometimes works.
