Yesterday John and I were invited to the UKIVAS Vasculitis Education Day at Salford hospital in Manchester. There were 140 doctors and specialist nurses there. The education programme included Behçet Syndrome, ANCA Vasculitis, EGPA, Paediatric Vasculitis, Neurology, ENT Involvement, Cardiology Involvement, Large Vessel Vasculitis and Dermatology. There were also two patient presentations including Jayne Hardman, who gave an amazing presentation with slides about her own personal journey with the loss of her nose and gaining a new nose. There will be a full write up in the VUK Autumn 2019 newsletter but for now here is a photo of Jayne giving her presentation.
