So I'm pretty sure I have livedo reticularis, I have not gotten diagnosed yet. But have done my research on it I have these weird patterns on my thighs and arms and I've had it for as long as I can remember but it is getting worse in the last year. When I first noticed it was in my late teens and I'm about to be 30 in the next 6 months and hit it has gotten increasingly worse in the last year. Any recommendations on how to get rid of it and does tanning help it? Need answers and I'm afraid to go to the doctors I don't have a primary doctor I have New Year's so I really don't know how to go about this? This picture was taken a few days ago.

As far as I know there is no treatment for it directly but it’s important to find out if it is idiopathic or caused by another condition. If it’s caused by another condition then it’s very important that that gets treated and in turn the liviedo should improve. As it is a circulation issue, a healthy lifestyle is good advice. Fake tan helps a little cosmetically but I still didn’t feel able to get my legs out in the summer. Mines a bit better now so I can wear crop trousers but not much more!

is a good and fairly simple article about what causes it. However - if you have it, going to the doctor is the sensible option because although it CAN be as simple as not being warm enough or just "you" (idiopathic) it is also possibly the symptom of an underlying problem.
If it is, knowing what it is isn't going to change anything: you have it and is isn't going to go away on its own. Going to the doctor means that if it is something else it can be treated/managed and it may get better. Tanning is just a cosmetic approach that brings with it its own risks (if you mean a tanning booth?). Like trying using an airspray to hide the smell of a dead animal in the basement - only removing it will get rid of the smell properly.
I recently see a mass cell dermatologist and my arms and legs were covered in this same pattern that I’d always thought was normal 🤦♀️
He explained that when I am unwell the blood isn’t circulating and getting to the skin as it should. It gets worse when I’m a bath or showering, he said this was because the heat from water was actually helping my blood supply move more freely and he actually compared my feel life livedo with my after shower photo and it does have the exact same patterning
He did mention a drug I can take for it but is waiting for rheumatologist to confirm. I go back on the 10th April.
It’s strange because I think it’s quite a pretty little pattern but my skin turns into a furnace when this is more visible
