Approx 6 weeks ago I was out with my daughter , and was just generally trying to have a conversation and it was hard work. Words were hard to get out.
I brushed it to the side thinking I will drive myself insane with worry. It improved after about 3 days.
Last night in bed I had awful pains shooting through my ears into my head followed by nausea. I though I was having a stroke. After getting through the anxiety of it, I manage to get some sleep. Today I feel awful, almost flu like symptoms and these pains shooting through my head. Today again I noticed the struggle to speak, I can’t tell if I’m stuttering or lisping.
I feel in a really bad place. Is this normal to anyone else?

Hi there. I totally agree with the other comments to see GP or consultant urgently! I have also had progressive issues with memory and unable to talk some days with continued periods of stuttering and inability to get words for a couple of years now. I also get occasional stabbing pains in head which every consultant looks at me like I’m bonkers when mentioned. Had mri which came back clear thankfully, but it still continues and two years on still under slow investigation due to appointment shortages. I hope you get a more speedy investigation and every good wishes to you.
I had an appointment book with a private doctor this morning, and mentioned it. He is requested a referral back to him under the nhs with the need to do a mri scan .
I feel so disorientated, but I’m guessing this is just another side effect
I get the stabbing pains in the head too, they make me feel so sick, but I’m not sure if it’s the pain or it causes anxiety
