I had fluid on my knee, had it drained. it came back a couple days later, went back to the same place had it drained again, then I went to their main office a few days later for a follow up, and it just happenend to be that same day my test results came back positive for M.R.S.A. . Did I get this from the walk in clinic I went too? And should I sue, or what?

Dear torrey,
As a retired attorney in the US, I can tell you suing, without expert proof from an infectious medicine physician, that there is a connection
( proximate cause) between your infection, and their clinic, you will get nowhere. Expert opinions cost $1000s which you would be required to pay before any reputable attorney would proceed. However, do report this matter to your closest local public health agency. There may be others who went to that clinic and have had the same experiences. Then an attorney might have something to work with. Do demand a copy of your records from any and all visits to this clinic,
What are you now doing to treat this problem? Medically? So sorry this happened to you.
Thinking back did the clinic use disposable or sterilized instruments, wear gloves, etc.??
