My question is can prednisone 10 mg cause muscle weakness while starting it again after a long time

Hi Sharoz Just interested to see your post 6 months ago. I have a mixture of autoimmune diseases but not sure if it is GCA. Have had droopy eyes a long time and have recently had 2 awful bouts of weak, spasming muscles which are improving and have a weird upper back feeling of moving air up and down. Am on 8.5mg prednisolone tapering at ,5mg started on 40mg in May 18. I'd be glad of any info.
