Young children with Wegners / Vasculitis

Hi, I am looking to find anyone who has experience with young children affected by WGPA or vasculitis especially around airways, nose lungs etc. My daughter first became ill at two years old and was given a diagnosis of WG a year later after some very serious hospital admissions. She is currently six and on prednisolone and azathioprine and is doing well despite a recent flare up.

May God bless you and your daughter; I cannot imagine how such a young child could have this! I am so glad she is doing well. I have had WG for only a few months, am 73. It is mysterious -- May a cure be found!

I am sorry -- I know of no children with Wegener's -- the auto-immune disorders are so varied! I am right in the middle of the "healng" stage (I hope) and can only at this point report on my own illness. But I'll keep an eye out as I do what research I can. All the best ---
