I have just been diagnosed one month ago and am still in hospital, I can't walk at at all just now, doctors are unsure why, lots of scans and test going on, they are now considering a stroke, scans done yesterday, results today, anyone else heard of this ??

Hi,
Sorry to hear that you have been in hospital for a month. What type of Vasculitis have you been diagnosed with ( there are over 18 different types ) and what treatment have you been given?
Some types of Vasculitis can cause a stroke and also peripheral neuropathy which can make walking very difficult.
Vasculitis is a rare, complex disease and needs expert treatment. There are relatively few Consultants up and down the country who are very knowledgable. I don't know where you are treated but if your Dr's are struggling there are quite a few multi disciplinary Vasculitis clinics that they could contact for advice.
