Can someone post photos of skin vasculitis. I have many bruises from steroids but I have a black area with red around it that looks like Skin vasculitis. I presently have GCA. Thank you

If you google vasculitis skin lesions or something similar you will get plenty of links to dramatic skin rashes. Are you sure though that it isn't purpurae

or petechiae. The difference is in the size.

Both will occur with being on pred.

Unfortunately there are over 18 different variants of Vasculitis, many of which affect the skin. Although the " classic " Vasculitis lesions are purpura and petechia there are other skin manifestations.

If you are concerned about a skin lesion then the best thing to do is get a Dr to look at it ( either your GP or Consultant ).
