Evening everyone.

Can I ask, what to expect at my consultation appointment at Queen Elizabeth's Hospital Birmingham? Will I be there for a few hours?

Do they do tests at your appointment or will I have a follow up x

H Laura, it all depends on what is wrong with you.

Myself i have problems with my lungs so a chest x-ray is done and the result given on the day. Also take a urine sample with you as they test this as soon as you arrive if not needed you can just throw it away. If blood tests are done this will be reviewed and any problems that show up you will get a phone call. Make sure you have all your questions wrote down that you would like to ask because once you get in there you forget half the things. In the early days i would be walking back up the road and suddenly remember a question forgot to ask LOL!!!

Awe hey Greenkit

I'm ANCA positive, possible GPA vasculitis. Been referred by my doctor to the vasculitis clinic for further testing & diagnosis.

I have tiny multiple granulomas on my legs, & I have all sorts of lesions to heart issues. You can read them on my profile.

Excellent thank you, I want to make sure I make the most of my appointment & hopefully get some answers.

Gosh I'm like that all the time my head is like a siv when I'm put on the spot.
