Can I change my Hemotologist?

Been over a year of being in limbo.October had phone review ,6 months previous lots of blood tests.Now mid January new year,no response since last phone call in November when she mentioned about ct full body scan,which in her words put on back burner,so should I just telephone for review by a different Doctor? PLEASE ADVISE ME.

You need to get your GP to refer you to someone else for a second opinion, you can't just phone.

If you think you have Vasculitis then there is no point seeing another Haematologist as they know very little about Vasculitis. As you have mainly Neuro symptoms then you either need to see Dr Kidd ( I have given you his details previously ) or a Rheumatologist or similar who has experience in diagnosing and treating Vasculitis. If you tell us where in the UK you stay we can give you some names.

The advice that we have given you all along hasn't altered in any way.

Thank you keys for your reply,I have been discharged by my neurologist.As test results were all good and he said a brain biopsy may harm me,so without any major symptoms he has said no to doing one

Jan, are the Dr's still querying Vasculitis as a cause of your symtoms?

The neurologist was the only doctor to mention it,so not sure now.
