Relapse?

My hubby has been in remission for nearly 3 years and ANCA negative. Diagnosed with WG in 2008. Latest blood test shows ANCA result is positive. Does this mean disease is active again?

Not necessarily, does he have any symptoms?

Fatigue and also joint stiffness. Blocked sinus and coughing constantly.

A positive ANCA and symptoms means that he probably is flaring unfortunately. Does he have a appointment with his Consultant soon? So your husband still on treatment?

He had rituximab final infusion Jan 2014 and has been on no medications since then. He has an appt in March but we can bring it forward. Thanks very much for your help.

I would definitely phone to get the appt brought forward. If it is a flare then the sooner it's treated the better. Hopefully your Husband can get access to some more Rituximab as it worked well in the past.
