Anyone have experience of/info on use of Denusamab or Strontium Ranelate for osteoporosis?

Osteoporosis
Yes, I was on SR for 10 months and then I developed a DVT, so had to stop it. It was a bit of a faff to take, but apart from that I had no other side effects.
I have now been on denosumab injections (Prolia) for 3 years. I haven't had any discernable side effects at all and it has reversed my spinal osteoporosis in that time.
But that's me. It's like all the things they throw at you - you don't know if it will suit you unless you try!
The national oesteoporosis charity have an excellent helpline staffed by nurses. I will see if I can find the link.
Many thanks, will check this out.
Was on SR for 3 yrs and Denosumab fir three. SR was fab. Best I have taken. Reaction after three years to Denosumab and terrible one to alendronate. Now taking nothing. However do take calcium, vit D3, magnesium and vit k2 which research shows is really important. Have about 14 vertebral fractures (plus fractured hip through accident) but recent spinal X-ray shows spine than been for ten years!
I have had denosumab injections for 4 years and they appear to be working as a dexa scan last year showed an increase in bone density. Very few side effects which last for about a week after the jab.
