Both my husband and I will take warfarin for the rest of our lives. It is to stop future problems - I really would be surprised if you could get benefit for something that vast numbers of people take every day. You don't get free prescriptions for all things you need for life - there are certain limitations.

This can vary so much from person to person, depending on the damage the actual vasculitis has caused, as to if you can claim benefits. The fact you take warfarin is not really the issue. John suffered DVT in 2007 and has to take warfarin for the rest of his life, but the fact he takes Warfarin does not incapacitate him anyway.

But the damage caused to John's lungs by the vasculitis has caused him problems and now in later life his legs and feet are becoming a problem.

Hope this helps

I'm also on warfarin for the rest of my life as I have a clot in the jugular vein. I work full time and because I'm working I get no benefits.
