I have vasculitis, albeit in remission and still allowing me to be pretty active. My partner is a very experienced Relate counsellor. We are in West Yorkshire, north of Leeds/Bradford. Where are you based?

I am in the final stages of finalising my divorce and am lucky enough to have met a new partner who has learnt all about my illness and how she can best support me so we can enjoy a good long life together. The emotional stresses and strain and the mental consequences are often overlooked and are as tough as the initial diagnosis, the symptoms of the disease and the outcomes of the treatment.

I do not know of a therapist or counsellor that can help; sorry. I can and do entirely empathise with your position though. Take care, keep strong and be healthy. Take it all one day at a time.

Can anyone recommend a holiday insurance company that will cover WG without charging the earth?

I'm off for just a 3 day trip to Europe so don't want to spend a fortune on holiday insurance!
