All three..I have Takayasu's. Blurred vision stopped when I started treatment; this is important as large vessel people can have long lasting problems with their sight. Dizziness is much improved as are the cramps, but both reappear when I am doing too much...or waiting for the next infusion.

I have polymyalgia and giant cell, I started on 60mg prendisolone now on 45mg. I have terrible cramp in my hands, fingers and feet, I also go dizzy and get breathless and get very dry eyes and mouth.i don't get blurred vision, but when I first got gc I lost part of my vision in right eye, it has come back.what is cyclo?

Cyclo is cyclophosphamide. It is used alongside steroids to damp down the inflammation involved on autoimmune diseases. Usually given by infusion as a day patient. Doctors don't like keeping us on large doses of steroids because of all the side effects. Your symptoms sound as though they are pretty classic ones for your condition, so it might be a good idea to talk to your consultant about how long you are staying on the steroids, and if s/he is planning to give you anything else?
