certainly if I’m unwell then Mr T takes advantage.

I imagine I can hear him giggling inanely in the background.

If you can manage - in this glorious weather! - to get out and about a bit then listen to the trees, the wind.

And if not, then distract yourself by you favourite means - for me, that means reading a book perhaps with some classical music in the background. Controlled breathing helps me to relax, too.

hello - doxycycline side effects do include tinnitus and hearing loss as a rare occurrence. I would call the GP and ask for a different one.

list of side effects on the NHS website (I can’t seem to paste it here)

Not really relevant but might make you laugh. I had doxy for a chest infection and one day noticed my vision was going in one eye - quick google and it’s one of the possible side effects. Go to hospital immediately! Panic stations!! Turned out one of the lens had fallen out of my glasses 🤣. (Bizarrely I never found it!)

Hope it settles again for you - it could be the infection though rather than the medication - fingers crossed 🤞

Oh dear. What a fright for you with your lens

My pharmacists advised me that Doxy is ok and not effecting my ears. It appears I have a build up of ear wax and I’m having then micro sucked on friday. Probably due to the infection and wearing heating aids.

Best wises
