My T wakes me every morning , 2am this morning, I find it difficult to understand if you are sleeping why does it appear. It happens every night and takes me some time to settle down, sleep apps help.

8.15 now its still screaming but will I keep busy to distract.

I have come to terms this is with me forever.

Not a happy thought !

I play if it is too much and I cannot drop off it usually works. The app I use plays for approx 1 hr. But as I mentioned it wakes me at 2am, 3am 4am every morning.

I think I will try leaving calming music on all night, any thoughts anybody.

T is sqealing away at I the moment as I have sat down and the house is quiet. !

Hello Vincent.

Is there a reason that this post is just a link to Tinnitus UK's guidance on Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and nothing else?

If you have a question about it or an opinion on it, please feel free to share it. Otherwise, the point of posting a link to guidance like this is lost on me.

As this thread is misleadingly named - it queries 'sound retraining therapy', which is not a recognized term and then conflates a link to the 'tinnitus retraining therapy' guidance on our website - I am locking it.

If members wish to explore sound therapy or enrichment, there are many threads on the forum (and others) which cover this topic - healthunlocked.com/search/p...
