Tinnitus : Can tinnitus make you feel if though... - Tinnitus UK
Tinnitus
This is a great question, as I feel exactly like this. I am relatively new to Tinnitus, but the tremors have come along at the same time.
Yes it happens to me too, usually when I get more tired and tinnitus certainly makes me more tired . I have to lay my head down if it starts to feel. a bit waving .
Morning Clare.
It's not actually the tinnitus that gives you the shakes, I believe bits the part of the stress response to tinnitus. When we feel anxious or stressed by tinnitus or any situation, it doesnt have to T, our body's go into fight or flight response, which fills us with Adrenaline and a naturally produced steroid, that's then flows through your entire body, making you ready for what might happen, so aftertime your muscles will become fatigued and therefore start to shake or tremor, it's the same as when you exercise, you muscles become tired, you as a whole become tired, which in turn, makes you more anxious, you stay hyper aware and sensitive, that then makes you notice your T more noticeable and your perception of it then increases, which adds to the fight or flight system being constantly switched on...then around and around you go.
So because your body is in a constant state of arousal, due to anxiety and stress revolving around your T, I'm not surprised you have tremours or shakes. That is why we all need to practice relaxation and breathing exercises, to help to restore the internal peace to our nervous system.
Flight or flight is quick to trigger but very slow to reset that is why we need to help ourselves as much as possible.
Hope this helps someway.
Laters.

It trying to break the cycle of going a round anda round its very hard but I'm going to have to force myself to start doing things like what you said in another post you wrote about using my tools the hard work is down to me helping myself thank you so much matt you really have helped me love clare stay safe and well ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Agree with Matt . I was very shaky in the early days of T. Initially I thought it was the T itself but eventually realised it was the stress / anxiety response. It does gradually wear off although may resurface from time to time. On bad days.
Thank you doglover1993 I just need to use my tools find out what they are and force myself to using them love clare stay safe and well ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Hi doglover1973 I have a shaky head could it be from tinnitus? Because I was leaning on one side unbalanced when I went to the hospital I've been told its vertigo,,even now trying to regain my balance,,am on medication betahistine dihydrochloride, and trying to control my anxiety and stress
I do not find I get the shakes but my sense of balance becomes increasing worse and I tend to fall and hurt myself. My doctor says it is about getting older but I am very skeptical about that answer.
Sending big hugs I hope you get to the bottom of it hope you don't have any more falls please take it easy and stay safe and well love clare ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Thanks Clare. Sometimes the anxiety we have from having T may be part of the reason for having the shakes. I find when the ringing is so high pitched going for a drive or walk in the country helps dull the sounds in my head. Try some relaxation exercises or basic yoga poses to see if it helps. It is very frustrating that the medical world does not have some sort of solution to help us so I guess the best we can do now is to share each others experiences. Take care Blessings Elsie
I don't physically shake, but my body tremors inside and it comes with the tinnitus. I can feel my brain sending the sparks through my body. It's like it pulsate by itself. It's not my heart bit, as in pulsatile tinnitus, it's coming from the back of my head and sends the thumbing to the rest of my body. It's the strangest of feelings. I can stop it sometimes by blocking my ear.
