Flare Audio?

Hi, I keep seeing an ad from "Flare Audio" advertising a product by the name of "Calmer". They seem legit and aren't going all out to claim their product cures tinnitus but that they have received communication from some customers that it has. They also have the British Tinnitus Association badge on their site, which makes me assume all the more they are legit. I'm just checking here to see whether this product is a scam and that they're using the badge to deceive or not. Thanks

No it’s hot a scam you can order them on amazon.they make a lot of different products.but these are to somehow make noise coming in to your ears less stressful.and it that some people who have been using them who happen to have tinnitus have said that they noticed a difference in their T.the company have said that they will be looking into this.i have a pair but have not really used them yet as I have a lot going on in my head at the moment.am waiting for meds to help me with this uncontrollable voice inside my head.but once I’m feeling a bit better I will start wearing them.and if they work will pass it on and also they are not that dear so if ther don’t work you don’t lose much.and again they my work for some people and not for others.

Yes, they are definitely legit and have been in touch with the British Tinnitus Association to become a Corporate Member (hence the BTA badge on their website).

There hasn't been any formal research into the effectiveness of using Calmer for tinnitus. I got them and they did nothing for my tinnitus!! They may help others I’m not sure ! Only cost €22 ! They are just little soft rubber ear plugs ! Good luck 😊

Hi, same as other people I'm afraid - at £20 I thought they were worth a shot but unfortunately they haven't improved my tinnitus at all. The company is legit and the service in terms of delivery is excellent so, given it seems to have worked for some people, you have little to lose in giving the product a try. Good luck.

I think they may have had one or two people say it helped (not cured obviously) and have jumped all over that via social media ads to drive sales as it’s a market they didn’t expect to tap into at first and is also desperate for any help....clever marketing you could say but I’ve tried them and they did nothing

I will try them, I have to try something, life is becoming awful with this constant high pitched scream tearing my head apart 24/7. If they don't work I will just invoke the 30 day money back clause. I am not overly optimistic, just desperate and I suppose that's the gift to these people !!!

I have a pair, doesn't make any difference other than make T sound louder as the plugs dull the masking from outside sounds. I'm very sceptical about their motives with this. They're almost making a disclaimer by saying they were designed to lower distortion, I doubt this was ever the intention, they'd be lucky to sell 20 for that purpose. However, suggesting that they somehow mysteriously make T better and that this was a "surprise" to them, well then they'll sell thousands to desperate T sufferers who think it's worth a shot for £20, like me. Very clever marketing I think.
