Hi, I'v started to get a fluttering sensation in my ear, more noticeable in quiet. Hav'nt a clue what started this or what this is,driving me mad, it's only started the last couple of days, has any one else had this or know what to do?

This is likely to be middle ear myoclonus...when a muscle behind the ear twitches...also called muscular tinnitus. Can be caused by too much caffeine or stress.

Thanks for reply, I don't take caffeine but am totally stressed out, so I would say it's likely to be that. Thanks
