1. Ear buds suitable to use at bed time, I have some I use for day use but find they don’t stay in my ear easily, what do you folks use? I don’t want silly priced ones but am open to suggestions.
2. Ear plugs, we have tickets to a pop concert in July and I will need to get some protection so are any better than others or will over the counter basic ones do the job?
Thanks in advance

1. I wouldn't use earbuds overnight - if I were you. Use a sound box or an app and let your ears breathe. I know other people might disagree.
2. Alpine ear plugs & muffs are very good for all things noisy. The party plugs reduce by 19 decibels and the muffs by 25 so you can have a reduction of 44 decibels if you wear them together.
I wouldn’t use earbuds I’m pretty sure that’s how my T started . The audiologist told me she didn’t think that was the problem we know our bodies mine didn’t start until I started using earbuds.
1. I prefer to play nature sounds on a smart speaker at night. I've tried wearing buds at night but it's just not comfortable for me as a side sleeper.
2. I suffer from hyperacusis and have found EarDial HiFi earplugs to be very helpful in the noisier environments where I would otherwise not be able to tolerate it.
hi, when I first had T and struggled to sleep I used a headband with bluetooth speakers I got from the BTA shop (afraid they no longer sell them and I no longer have it but sounds similar to what daverussell mentioned above).
In regards to ear plugs for concerts, I swear by Alpine ear plugs (I have musicsafe pro and party plugs) alpinehearingprotection.co.uk/ I find them excellent as protect my hearing but can still hear music and friends next to me (I particularly like then as adjustable depending on how much noise I am going to be exposed to). Hope this helps in some small way. Stay safe
