Has anyone any experience of Endos at Homerton Hospital? Any good ?

I'm heading there for first appt next month. Wish I had opted for Barts

Said to be much better on reviews. The endo I'm seeing at homerton

Has a special interest in diabetic foot ulcers

Totally irrelevant to me..

never forget Richard, that if your unhappy at homerton you can always use the 'choose and book 'system via your gp for a second opinion ---as indeed I have done and requested that barts to be my first option [ it took approx. 5 weeks from start of process to the first appointment....good luck

I didn't actually ask for a referral -I think my gp is trying to offload me as I keep asking questions he can't answer thanks of course to the lovely people on this site. Don't know why he chose Homerton hospital as Whipps X is my local.Perhaps Whipps isn't far enough away from him!

With the result I will insist as homerton was the GPs choice

Not mine. When my mum asked for her scan to be booked at

Barts they said sorry no we have a kind of contract

With homerton so it's best if you go there. Choose and book, not quite!!

Hi Richard, I hope that your appointment goes well and although I don't have any experience or knowledge of the Homerton Endo (I don't even know who it is) I do know that the Endo at Whipps Cross (also under the Barts umbrella) is excellent. Hope this helps.
