Hi Normal Glucose I think may be slightly lower ,but after drinking glucose that I would guess is fine. better test is the 6 hour test, out patients for safety, it also shows hyperglacaemia, not diabetes. Usual test now for diabetes, bloods glucose and HbA1c, done after 12 hours water and drugs only.
You do not say if you suffer with Hypo/Hyperthyroidism.
If you are Hypothyroid, a symptom may be Reactive Hypoglycaemia.
Be aware that both Fasting and Glucose Tolerance Tests may counter intuitively produce a false positive for Hyperglycaemia (diabetes), when the underlying condition is actually Hypoglycaemia (excess insulin).
Also be aware that Low T3 syndrome is linked to Diabetes ~ tinyurl.com/bmdp9v8
Yes I do suffer from hypothyroidism I have done for 19 years, I also have PA and low Vit D, which was diagnosed about 6mths ago and since that time have suffered from high TSH and low T4 which I am having trouble regulating hence why I am seeing an Endo to try and get to the bottom of this.
What is hypoglycaemia is it different to diabetes or does it run along side it, a bit confused.
