Thyroid levels

Hi all just had my results back and they are 0.1 I. Currently on 112 of thyroxine and my anxiety has got worse can anyone give any suggestions as to why, my heart is going mad especially when I wake up in the mornings x thank you

Have you had these checked.

Hi Moggie yes had them done by Genova and showed adrenal insufficiency gp dismissed results, went to see dr p, gave me supplements, but I cannot afford to see him anymore x

Hi What is your Free T3? Doctors assume that if TSH low it is Ok but that need not be so. Have you tried splitting the dose of T4, it may help.What is your T4? You need ranges for every blood test as all very different at different Labs.It may be low vit D ( hormonal ) or quite likely ow B12 and Folic acid or ferritin, ball need checking.Also worth checking pulse when "off" and when OK. Is it swinging? If so ask the GP for a 24 hours ECG( or better a 7 day). It would not show on a normal ECG, it may be Atrial Fibrillation ( A. F) as thyroid disease often brings it on.It is not too serious but needs anticoagulation as the risk is clots.

I found I was less anxious on T3/T4 combination treatment. Is that a TSH of 0.1? That is a little low.

Hi both i take my T4 at night sitting down now pulse is 88 but goes much higher when very anxious did when i went to see gp the other day blood pressure was 165/110 so she said i was to start taking propranolol again to keep anxiety at bay, but not keen on taking it again never had vits checked they wont do any other test at labs only TSH unless endo says so, had ECG years ago and it didnot come up with anything, i have never felt well and always had anxiety since being hypo, yes TSH 0.1 gp says it ok and the best it has been for a long time, i have previously had saliva test done and it shows low adrenal insufficiency but trying to get gps to do anything about it is a nightmare not interested at all, so i think that is why i suffer with anxiety etc x
