help with medication am I not taking enough?

had a thyroidectomy 10 years ago and have been stable since but now not well at all but doc says 0.7 for my tsh levels are normal. im on weight watcher diet and im putting weight on?? anyone got any help

you don't say your dose - are you taking Levo (T4) or T3 or NDT or a combination?

have you got your results (& ranges) for FT4 and FT3 too?

other things to eliminate are deficiencies in minerals and vitamins - irons ferrtin folate & B12 and Vit D. All tend to be low too with Thyroid problems. Selenium helps with conversion too.

and you're not the first person to gain weight with a diet, it must be very disheartening. Have a good read here and on the main TUK site for info

Thank you Jane, you feel like your going mad, and why is it that the majority of doctors fob you off with little or no information?

I will look into my meds as its only 100mcg of levothyroxine, and doc never mentions T3 T4 ranges.
