I'm feeling really down now been to hospital tonight for app; and I do have sleep apena , it now means I can't drive till I get my CPAP machine which will be ..............well who knows . Anyone else have this and how are you getting on !!!

Are there any typical physical presentations for sleep apena eg carrying extra weight, smoker? What are your symptoms? P.S innocent question no offence meant just my ignorance

The main reason it seems is weight gain , smoking , heart problems , stroke , snoring , it seems that hypo people do get it because most of us do gain weight , and if you don't you are very lucky , I never snored until I gained weight so that is most likely the cause of mine Just another thing that we have to put up with it seems , it can also cause heart problems , poor memory , blood pressure , stroke , and a lot of people can have it and not even know that they do and a lot of the things it causes are just the same as thyroid symptoms like poor memory .

It just goes on and on , just when you think that you are getting sorted something else comes up and bite's you on the bum
