Have you tried asking your own GP for a private FT3 test. Most GP's do this and it could work out cheaper for you.

I just got blood test results, and will have my Primary Care Medical doctor appointment in 2 weeks:
How can I find out enough T4 is converting to T3, a previous problem sorted but now dealing with an inexperienced new GP.
T4 be over 10.9 and be ok
I would appreciate it anyone could help before I go back to the GP.

I need help. I have asked my doctor twice now if she would do a t3 test on me, and she has refused twice saying I dont need it. 
Do I need to tweak my T3 or T4? After feeling so much better hypo symptoms have returned.
