I use Lamberts selenium.

It is used to help conversion of t4 (the storage hormone) into t3 the active hormone.

I don't know.

You will find that there are several different selenium compounds used in the various supplements available. These include:

L-selenomethionine

sodium selenate

selenodiglutathione

You can find supplements with any or all the above. I think it likely that the selenium compounds contained, and the amounts, are far more important than brand itself. But I simply do not feel I know enough to make any recommendations.

I don't have a particular recommendations but can only tell you that I have found I feel better taking selenium. It's just the bog standard ones from Holland & B.. I do feel that it has helped so perhaps try one and see if it agrees with you.. It took a couple of week's for me to feel any improvement also coupled with changing the time that I was taking my Levo to last thing at night with just water. This was recommended by Helvella on here a while back and it's really helped me feel more like a human in the mornings..
