Hi Ive private messaged u details. From my experience it takes a long time to recover if you were really ill and I've been in limbo with my life for 2 years since 6 months before diagnosis, and since then But things are getting a bit better.

Many people are helped a lot by going privately, however please don't expect 'immediate' solutions as often this is unrealistic, I know you are probably well 'fed up' of being ill am not trying to dismiss that, just wouldn't want you to have false hopes.

Hi I would give it a bit longer, it does take ages to be stable, with frequent tests. However if you want I see a wonderful endo privately, leamington Spa, £ 150 first consultation, then £90. She would write to your GP for bloods, tests etc as unless insured never have a private blood test at a private hospital, very expensive! If interested send me a pM.

sarah, the sooner you get started on good treatment, the sooner your body can repair. I have certain irreparable damage from six years on T4. Since then I've been on Armour. I've just written to one person that I would rather go broke getting good treatment now than to be broke due to loss of a job and ALSO very sick LATER. Six months later you should be, if not much improved, at least a little improved. A judgment call you alone can make.
