has any one a fungal rash
Thyroid hormone imbalance can make a person more susceptible to fungal problems, especially candida. So yes it could be related to your thyroxine dose change. But that doesn't mean it categorically is.
Can you tell me what are the latest guidelines re dosage of thyroid gland hormone? I just thought you were medicated until your symptoms went and you felt better although doctors insist on keeping people 'within normal range' which mainly results in people still feeling ill.
Hi my GP says that the guidelines are to keep you lower in the range to prevent osteoporosis and increased risk of palpitations. and reduced me from125mg to 100mg. after 3 months I told the GP I could not continue to live the way I was and agreed that I could have 100 and 125 on alternate days. Even with this I feel rubbish. Re osteoporosis a friend who sees a private endocrinologist says this not a risk. I must say that reading up on this lately I believe I have a brilliant GP at least they listened to me and met me half way
