They are very similar to hypo symptoms and it can be hard to tell them apart, though becoming agitated or anxious, headaches and higher BP/temperature, are more common to hyper
Also feeling aggressive and angry, sweating, sleepless, blurred vision are symptoms. Please don't let your doc tell you that you are hyper because your TSH is suppressed this is quite usual!! (Both the doc trying to cut your meds and TSH being suppressed!!)
Ah most of those symptoms iv had all the way through! Aggressive and angry iv had since I started on thyroxine! It's Dr S I am seeing as my own doc doesn't believe I even have a thyroid problem, the usual story!
Iv gone from 0-175mg of thyroxine since mid Aug at the direction of Dr S, although iv sneaked a couple of the doses up a wee bit early if iv been feeling particularly rotten. I would say I now feel about 50% better. Will the other 50% come with time or should it be quite quick and therefore this indicates that either thyroxine/thyroxine alone is no good for me or is it that it's been too quick? Hence my worry of having gone hyper?
I know if I'm going hyper because I get very thirsty and hungry. If I eat a normal breakfast and am starving hungry half and hour later I'm hyper. if I can't get through a Zumba class without swigging a litre of water, I'm hyper. I take two water bottles to each class!
